 Admission Policy

The admission policy of the Foundation ensures that once a child is selected on merit, he or she is entitled to education and the Foundation will arrange for finances of the child's education, if required.

A few months before the annual admission starts, wide publicity is given in the rural areas to encourage parents to bring their bright children for the test and interview process, which primarily aims at determining their potential for admission in Foundation's schools.

The screening process is handled independently by a team of experts including child psychologists from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad as well as experienced teachers with special training. This team conducts 'Assessment for pre-school Intelligence Development' (APID) test of the children. So far 350 talented children (51% of them being girls) have been admitted in the foundation's pilot project 'Pearl Valley Public School' during the past 7 years using APID tests.
